Joseph Robertson – Owner
Joseph Robertson was born and raised in the great state of Texas and graduated from Southern Methodist University. Joseph has been in the construction industry for 18 years and has focused on roofing for over 12 years. Joseph is passionate about creating a unique company where team members are in positions that match their God-given gifts and talents and where they can find fulfillment in work. He is also passionate about creating a company founded on integrity and accountability which will provide excellent service to clients.
Joseph loves spending time with his good friends and family in his free time, as well as exercising and playing an occasional round of golf. His proudest accomplishment and greatest joy is being a father to and raising three wonderful children. Joseph is driven by freedom and flexibility. He loves being self-employed and all the challenges it brings.
Tyler Taunton – Owner
Tyler Taunton was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana where he attended Evangel Christian Academy. From there he went on to play Junior College Baseball at Bossier Parish Community College where he also achieved his Associate’s Degree. Next, Tyler pursued his Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management and continued his collegiate baseball career at Arkansas Tech University, where he graduated from. At Arkansas Tech University he helped the team set the school wins record and achieved Academic All-Conference.
Tyler met his beautiful wife Stormi in Junior College, and they both went on to play sports together at Arkansas Tech, where they would get engaged. They married in December of 2010, and have lived in Austin since they married. Tyler has 4 beautiful daughters: Landin Nicole, (late) Grace Ann, Andi Grace and Austin Tyler. His hobbies include waterfowl and dove hunting, whitetail deer hunting, saltwater fishing, and golf. Tyler is heavily involved at Austin Ridge Bible Church and lives to pursue God first. He has 10 plus years of roofing experience in Sales, Project Management, and Estimating. Previous employers are Harvey Cleary Builders and Quality Roofing. Tyler has a passion for bringing a heightened level of integrity to the construction industry. He is fulfilled by meeting customers’ needs and creating raving fans who generate referral business!
TJ Likes – Residential Sales
When TJ isn’t working out, exercising or engaged in some sort of resistance training he can be found reading a book or wake surfing on Lake Travis. Otherwise he’s working with customers to bring them solutions for their homes and businesses. TJ offers solid ways to improve homes and buildings in the most advantageous ways to benefit the homeowner.
TJ’s passion to help people comes from the satisfaction of knowing someone is not being taken advantage of and prides himself in bringing integrity to an industry that does not have the best reputation. He also has a complete understanding of the insurance claim process and is very familiar with the State of Texas insurance laws and guidelines. He has helped hundreds of homeowners navigate the often difficult claim process and brings clarity to an otherwise cloudy process.
Jake Holmes – Project Manager
Jake Holmes is a native, lifelong Texan. Born and raised in the Southeast Texas region, Jake brings to the table over a decade of civil construction experience. Before joining Texas Roof Repair, he worked for 12 years for a diverse range of organizations, including residential, commercial and industrial construction companies. After years of traveling around the United States for civil projects as a Project Manager, he finally decided to settle in Central Texas where he had always dreamed of living. With a devotion to integrity, and a desire to exceed expectations the service provided by Jake is one of excellence.
Outside of work Jake is an avid traveler and passionate about music having played his first instrument at 7 years old and continuing to do so ever since. As far as traveling goes, he believes the experiences gained from the ability to see different areas and cultures, whether it be a vacation overseas, or just a local weekend trip through the Texas Hill Country is an invaluable pastime. This same curiosity is what helps drive his creative problem solving and adaptability to help deliver a great end product.
Jared Dysart – Commercial Sales/Estimating
Born and raised in Northwest Louisiana, Jared grew up playing football and baseball. He played baseball through college, graduating High School from Evangel Christian Academy in 2005 and ultimately graduating from Centenary College, in Shreveport, LA. Getting a B.S. in Geology in 2010.
Husband to his high school sweetheart, Jenna, and father to two beautiful girls: Landry (5) and Emerson (2). When not playing barbies and dress up with his daughters; Jared enjoys working out, hunting, fishing, and cooking meat. Jared and family are involved and serve at Austin Ridge Bible Church, at the Dripping Springs Campus.
Previously a geologist in the Oil and Gas industry, Jared decided to enter into a more exciting and challenging career in Roofing and Construction. Jared has been in the commercial roofing industry for the past 5 years, specializing in all things germane to flat roofs.
Jared takes special pride in providing his clients with open dialogue, honest pricing, and clear communication from first inspection, through closeout of a project.
Jose Barrios – Field Superintendent
Jose Barrios was born in Chiapas, Mexico. Jose and his family moved to Texas when he was just 6 years old, and has been a resident of Texas ever since . Jose graduated from high school and went on to attend Texas State University. Jose started in roofing 7 years ago and has experience in all things residential and commercial roofing. Jose really enjoys project management and working with others to troubleshoot issues and find solutions to problems.
He enjoys meeting new people and making friends while working with different people on different roofing projects. Jose loves to travel and go on road trips to new places.
Jose is active in his local church and loves serving in ministry. He also enjoys watching movies, playing his cajon peruano, and spending time with his family.
Carlos Martinez – Chief Operating Officer (COO)
